Whether you searched “best obstetrician in Chennai” or “pregnancy scan near me”, you need a schedule you can keep, scans that are explained, and a plan if diabetes, blood pressure or twins enter the story.
Antenatal care schedule
Visits are more frequent in the third trimester and whenever a result needs watching. We review blood pressure, baby’s growth, your questions, and medicines. First-visit counselling covers diet, supplements, warning symptoms and when to call. Couple labour classes and the doula programme sit alongside medical care — see pregnancy exercises and labour class.
Ultrasound and scans
Dating, anatomy, growth and Doppler studies are available on site. If you typed “pregnancy scan / ultrasound clinic near me”, start here and continue to our ultrasound page for the full list of obstetric and pelvic scans. Same-visit reporting is the point of having imaging in the clinic.
High-risk pregnancy management
Dr. Sharadha has particular experience with diabetes and hypertension in pregnancy, recurrent miscarriage work-up, and pregnancies that need closer monitoring. High risk does not mean high panic: it means a written plan, extra scans when indicated, and clear hospital coordination. Pregnancy echo is arranged when cardiac assessment is advised.
Delivery and postnatal care
Birth takes place at affiliated hospitals (including Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Guindy, and SM Hospital, KK Nagar) with your SRS obstetrician leading care. After delivery we support feeding, wound review and the return visit. Kidney or blood-pressure follow-up can involve Dr. Sakthi Rajan when needed.
